Head of Sales (San Francisco)

Head of Sales SnapMagic is building the digital growth engine for the global electronics industry. Our core platform (formerly SnapEDA) already reaches 2M engineers annually and is the default discovery layer for electronic components. We’re now scaling SnapMagic Copilot, built on a proprietary dataset of 10M components, serving as the discovery and demand layer for the global electronics industry. This is a category-defining opportunity. We are specifically looking for someone who is deeply obsessed with the craft of selling – someone who studies it, practices it, and improves it continuously through direct customer conversations. Since our seed round, we’ve doubled revenue with a small team operating at a very high bar. The demand is real. The market is ready. What’s missing is a sales leader who can turn momentum into a streamlined, repeatable engine. We’re looking for someone who has personally built the sales motion at a VC-backed company and knows what it takes to scale from 7-figure to 8-figure revenue. What you’ll do Read this carefully: this is a builder role , not a delegator role. You will personally run a high volume of discovery calls, proposals, and closes until the motion is proven. You will set the standard for excellence through examples, templates, playbooks, and execution You will ensure operational discipline: if it isn’t in HubSpot, it didn’t happen. You operate with total transparency and precision. You will own outcomes end-to-end — missed numbers, stalled deals, and unclear signals are surfaced early and addressed directly. The role has two phases: Phase 1: Sell personally, define the motion Phase 2: Recruit and lead the team Responsibilities Run discovery, pricing, negotiation, and close strategic deals yourself Build the motion: ICP, pricing, packaging, contracts, pipeline hygiene, forecasting and decks Maintain a tight operating rhythm with the CEO; surface progress and risks early with clear, fast communication Use data to craft compelling value stories and build ROI models Design, test, and iterate on sales motions until a repeatable, scalable pipeline emerges After the motion is proven, hire and develop top reps and set the operating cadence for predictable revenue. Who we are looking for You’re comfortable being in the details longer than you’d like because that’s what building requires You actively experiment with messaging, pricing, and objection handling in live deals and change your approach based on what works You do the unglamorous work “like clockwork” (metrics, follow-ups, revenue ops) You take feedback eagerly and turn it directly into execution You hold yourself to standards higher than anyone else will You move fast and close loops quickly with both customers and the internal team What we offer Competitive salary and meaningful equity Medical, dental, and vision health insurance 401(k) - non-matching Commuter benefits Catered lunches on in-office days A sharp, low-ego, fast-moving team How we work In office Monday, Wednesday, Friday Remote on Tuesday and Thursday J-18808-Ljbffr

Principal Architect (Mount Arlington)

The Principal Architect is a senior individual contributor and hands-on technical leader responsible for defining and advancing MedPro’s target-state architecture, platform modernization strategy, and cross-product technical direction. This role partners directly with the VP of Engineering, engineering leads, product stakeholders, Data Operations, and IT/Security to move MedPro from a collection of independently built legacy and modern products toward a coherent, scalable platform company. This role does not manage people or own a separate budget. It leads through technical authority, execution, influence, credibility, and clear decision frameworks. The Principal Architect is expected to design, prototype, and help deliver critical reference implementations while guiding teams toward common patterns, reusable capabilities, and intentional modernization decisions. A central focus of the role is DataFlow, MedPro’s strategic in-house data platform and shared foundation for acquiring, mastering, matching, exploring, securing, and distributing MedPro data. DataFlow is intended to become the common internal and external interface for data capabilities across MedPro, replacing duplicated patterns and fragmented systems over time through disciplined modernization and incremental migration. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Define and maintain MedPro’s technical North Star, target-state architecture, and modernization principles in partnership with the VP of Engineering. Own the architecture vision for DataFlow as MedPro’s shared data platform foundation, including identity integration, role-based access control, data acquisition, master data management, matching and merging, search, data exploration, standard extracts, outbound data services, APIs, and shared platform capabilities. Translate the DataFlow vision into pragmatic architecture patterns, phased migration plans, and reference implementations that engineering teams can adopt incrementally. Design and lead strangler-pattern modernization approaches that allow MedPro to replace legacy Oracle/PLSQL, Classic ASP, .NET, and other legacy components without halting product delivery. Identify and collapse duplicate functionality, integrations, data flows, workflows, and storage patterns across MCR US, MCR International, MedProID, Data Acquisition, LDD/DLS, DASH, EngagePro, Bulk ID, WebID, AD/outbound data capabilities, and related platforms. Establish clean domain boundaries and shared services that allow products to converge where commonality creates leverage while preserving fit-for-purpose components where separation is warranted. Design and implement critical systems, prototypes, shared services, and hardest-path code that demonstrate the intended architecture and reduce adoption risk for product engineering teams. Partner with technical leads to align product-level decisions with enterprise architecture goals, without creating a heavy approval process or slowing teams unnecessarily. Lead lightweight engineering design reviews, architecture decision records, and technical standards that promote velocity with coherence rather than gatekeeping. Guide patterns for scalability, reliability, observability, performance, maintainability, security, and supportability across the engineering organization. Partner with Product leadership and Product Owners to ensure roadmap decisions account for long-term platform convergence, technical debt reduction, modernization sequencing, and customer impact. Collaborate with Data Operations, IT/Security, and shared service owners to clarify boundaries between product engineering, platform capabilities, infrastructure, security, operations, and data stewardship. Advance AI-assisted engineering practices and AI-enabled product architecture where they create measurable leverage, while ensuring responsible, secure, and maintainable implementation patterns. Serve as a mentor, coach, and force multiplier for engineering leads and senior engineers through design pairing, technical reviews, architecture office hours, and direct delivery collaboration. Communicate complex architecture decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive audiences when needed. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field — or equivalent demonstrated expertise. Experience in Life Sciences, healthcare, compliance, regulated industries, or data-intensive SaaS environments preferred but not required. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Proven ability to define architecture and technical strategy that impacts multiple products, teams, or domains. Strong hands-on engineering capability with the ability to design, prototype, review, and implement critical platform components or reference implementations. Ability to influence without direct management authority and align technical leads, engineers, product stakeholders, and executives around a shared technical direction. Exceptional analytical, communication, facilitation, and mentorship skills. Strong judgment in balancing modernization, technical debt reduction, operational risk, customer impact, and roadmap delivery. Experience building and scaling internal platforms adopted by multiple product teams. Experience with master data management, healthcare provider or organization data, data matching and merging, search, extract delivery, data governance, or data-product operating models. Experience with strangler fig modernization, modular monolith decomposition, service-oriented or event-driven architectures, and incremental migration from legacy systems. Experience establishing architecture decision records, reference architectures, engineering standards, and lightweight design review processes. Familiarity with observability and operational excellence practices, including application performance monitoring, service reliability, supportability, and production readiness. Familiarity with lean/agile product delivery, technical roadmapping, systems thinking, and organizational change management. Track record of improving engineering leverage through reusable patterns, frameworks, shared services, or platform capabilities. 10 years of software engineering experience, including significant ownership of complex systems, platforms, or modernization initiatives. TECHNOLOGY/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE Experience with MedPro’s target and legacy technology landscape preferred, including React, Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle/PLSQL, .NET, Classic ASP, message queues, search platforms, observability tooling, and cloud or hybrid infrastructure patterns. Fluency with AI-assisted software development practices and the ability to guide responsible adoption across engineering teams. Demonstrated experience modernizing legacy SaaS, enterprise software, healthcare technology, data platforms, or other business-critical systems while maintaining production continuity. Experience with platform architecture, API-first design, domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, integration patterns, data products, and incremental migration approaches. REQUIRED TRAVEL 10% PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The individual is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen and extensive reading. The individual in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The individual must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time.
