Job Description We have an immediate practice opportunity for a full time Comprehensive of Special Interest Ophthalmologist. The Department staffs a facility in the metropolitan Phoenix area with State-of-the-art equipment and Technology. Optometric and subspecialty support in Retina and Oculoplastic is available. The successful candidate will have responsibilities relating to serving as a faculty member to its sponsored graduate medical education programs. The candidate will assist in developing the clinical service line, providing inpatient and outpatient general ophthalmology services in the elective and emergent care settings, shared call coverage, teaching residents and should be comfortable with a teamwork approach for patient management. The candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in collaborative research activities. Required qualifications: The qualified candidate with interest in academics must have completed an accredited ophthalmology residency program, be board certified and/or board eligible.
