Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant Manage restricted gifts, grants, and pledges from award through disbursement. Oversee fund balances, reconciliations, and accurate fulfillment of donor intent. Create, maintain, and close Fund IDs in Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge. Support month-end close, balance sheet, and income statement analysis. Reconcile RE-to-FE postings and prepare clear, actionable financial reports. Track and reconcile stock, bond, and program-related donations. Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (experience prioritized). 3 years of experience managing restricted funds or nonprofit accounting. Strong reconciliation experience (funds, bank accounts, balance sheets). Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis).
