Your Responsibilities as a CAD Operator: Review CAD drawing and design to ensure compliance with established standards, including but not limited to layering, dimensioning, and naming conventions. Prepare detailed civil design drawings for grading and site development, utilities, including developing alignments, profiles, cross sections, and details utilizing Autodesk Civil3D software. Prepare construction documents based on self-directed design and engineering mark-ups that adhere to related specifications while using basic knowledge of relevant design and drafting principles Prepare mine support and permitting exhibits for underground, surface, prep plant, and refuse sites utilizing AutoCAD Map3D & Carlson Software. Process aerial drone and field survey data to generate mapping for engineering design. Process Laser Scans and produce BIM Models with utilizing Revit Software Perform volume/quantity calculations as required for earthwork and horizontal infrastructure projects such as force mains, storm/sanitary sewers and water pipelines Coordinate with various design teams including Civil, Mining, Environmental, Survey, and Construction to produce technical drawings to support departments across Apex. Operate self-directed on multidiscipline projects coordinating project set-up, chartering documents, and maintain designer team schedules Work with other CAD Team Members, Project Managers, and Project Engineers to understand scope of work, schedule, and budget. · Actively develop your own career growth. What we're looking for: A minimum of an Associates Degree in Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Design, or a related field. Related experience. Proficiency with MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and the add-on program Civil 3D. Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.
