Work Experience and Qualifications: Experience: 3 years of diesel repair experience; 57 years preferred in fleet, dealership, or mobile technician environments. Education: Certificate from a technical school or equivalent hands-on experience. May be responsible for a variety of additional duties, such as working with a milling machine on job sites, and is responsible for: actively communicating with the employee operating the machine; ensuring the milling machine is clear of any debris or objects it could potentially hit, including remove millings that could hinder the operation of the machine; assisting with changing carbide teeth in milling machine drum; greasing the machine; and maintaining the correct cutting depth. May also be responsible for working with a clean-up crew on job sites, responsible for assisting equipment operators to ensure loose particles are removed from the milled and roadway surfaces using shovels, brooms or other methods to achieve a cleaned surface.
