Full-Time Body Imaging Radiologist Needed Near South Holland, IL Are you an experienced Body Imaging Radiologist seeking a Full-Time opportunity near South Holland, IL? We have an exciting locum tenens position available, starting as soon as you are credentialed. Practice Overview Reason for Coverage: Need coverage until a permanent provider is found Practice Setting: Hospital, Reading for all sites, with on-site work at LUMC, open to remote reading Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p; No call or weekends Average Cases per Day: Variable depending on rotation, 35-40 CT, or equivalent mixture as directed by the section chief Imaging Modalities: X-ray, CT, US, MRI mostly outpatient/non-urgent Procedures: None required Trauma Level: I EMR: Epic, PowerScribe 360, Intelerad PACS, Softek Illuminate Patient Demographics: All ages (Not necessary for locum to read Peds) Credentialing Timeframe: Roughly 60-90 days Submission Requirements Board Certification: ABR or AOBR - Required Active IL License: Required BLS Certification: Required Certification Requirements BLS Certification Board Certified State License Requirements Illinois Job ID: j-198828 Practice Dynamics In this role, you will contribute to a hospital-based practice reading for various sites, including on-site responsibilities at LUMC. Additionally, you will work with a mix of X-ray, US, and MRI, primarily focused on outpatient/non-urgent cases. Facility and Technology The facility operates at a trauma level I and utilizes advanced technologies for seamless operations. Patient Demographics and Credentialing Patient demographics cover all age groups, excluding pediatrics for locum coverage. The credentialing process takes approximately 60-90 days.
