KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Make 6–10 daily sales calls to generate new business opportunities. Deliver product demonstrations and customer presentations , collaborating with Senior MEP Specialists when technical expertise is needed. Work closely with the sales manager to align strategy and ensure you have the tools and support necessary to achieve collective goals. Solicit and target specific projects and decision-makers in general commercial construction, healthcare, and technology sectors, with a focus on large capital projects in both public and private markets. Collaborate with ISAT technical support and fabrication teams to provide tailored engineering solutions and ensure customer expectations are met. Become proficient in the means and methods of MEP contractors (hangers/supports, vibration isolation, risers, constructability trends). Monitor and report competitor activity in the region, sharing insights with Technical Support, Sales, and Corporate teams to maximize business growth. Stay informed on industry trends, building codes, and seismic requirements , including: 2018 IBC 2024 IBC 2019 CBC 2022 CBC 2022 CBC HCAI/OSHPD, ASCE 7-16 and 7-22 Other applicable local and federal codes Participate in ISAT’s in-depth seismic training, code knowledge, and sales strategy programs . Work with sales leadership and technical staff to monitor construction activity , motivate the team, and increase sales levels through leadership and technical expertise. Ensure accounts pay within company terms; collections are a core part of the sales cycle . Partner with Fremont’s local collection team to support timely payments and communicate with clients as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: 5 years of sales experience (construction/MEP industry preferred). Knowledge of construction; ability to read construction plans is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly personality. Professional, clean appearance; organized and punctual. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and results-driven approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License. Willingness to travel locally to job sites and contractor offices daily. Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
