About the Role Job Title: Sales & Marketing Associate (Outside Sales PPC Operations). Early-career role with direct mentorship, client exposure, and a path to Account Manager. The Marketing team focuses on PPC, physical marketing, and outside sales, including campaign execution, content creation, and in-person client engagement. We are seeking a versatile Sales & Marketing Associate to support both revenue initiatives and operational projects. This hybrid role combines outside sales, digital marketing, and hands-on field work, offering broad exposure across the business and a clear path toward becoming an independent Account Manager supporting future expansion initiatives. You will work closely with an Account Manager with a background in management consulting and startup operations, providing direct mentorship and hands-on training. This is not a siloed role — you will not be sitting at a desk editing a spreadsheet all day! Instead, you will gain practical experience across sales, marketing, and operations in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment backed by an established and growing company. Key Responsibilities Outside Sales: Train alongside an Account Manager, then independently manage client visits and develop new business across assigned territories or verticals PPC Marketing: Manage and optimize a ~$50K annual budget on Google Ads after initial training, with expansion into LinkedIn, Bing, and other channels Analytics & Reporting: Prepare monthly Ads reports and support dashboards for sales, procurement, and eCommerce Expansion Initiatives: Support leadership on geographic expansion and go-to-market efforts Special Projects: Assist with on-site opportunities such as liquidation evaluations and pallet racking projects; support SOP documentation as needed Ideal Candidate Fluent in English Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Comfortable visiting clients and walking warehouse floors Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 2023–2026 grads preferred Located within ~15 miles of City of Industry, CA 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or operations (specific industry experience is a plus) Strong communication and analytical skills Basic Excel / Google Sheets proficiency Interested in building client relationships and closing business Comfortable balancing field work and desk-based analysis Self-starter with strong ownership mindset Comfort with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT MPC, Claude, Zapier, Make) Additional languages are a plus (especially Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Korean) Able to work full-time, in-person Compensation & Benefits Base salary potential annual performance bonus potential commission Clear path to increased earning potential as responsibilities grow Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Additional details discussed during interview process Work Environment In-person role based in City of Industry, CA Approximately 65/35 split between desk work and field visits Small, collaborative team (under 20 office employees on-site) Why This Role / Summary Gain hands-on experience across sales, marketing, and operations while working directly with experienced leadership in a growing industrial distribution business.
