Operates multi excavation/earthmoving equipment to maintain ditches, canals and levees. Inspects crane for safety issues on a daily basis as well as the condition of the work site prior to setting up crane. Ensures adherence to safe work practices and procedures. Places blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads. Bolts boom sections together to extend or modify boom for pile driving or high lifting. Uses relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with regulations or standards. Other Duties as Assigned . The hiring range for this position is $62,067.20 to $73,028.80 (based on education and years of relevant work experience).
