Contribute to GAGAS-compliant audit reports, including objectives, scope, methodology, findings, conclusions, and management responses. Issue Validation & Follow-Up: Verify remediation efforts, perform retesting, and document issue closure in accordance with TDOT standards. Data Analytics & Tools: Leverage Excel, Power BI, and audit analytics tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA) to enhance audit coverage, sampling, stratification, and anomaly detection. Maintain complete, accurate, and review-ready workpapers within audit management software. Quality & Continuous Improvement: Apply TDOT audit templates and quality control procedures. Contribute lessons learned and recommendations for process and template improvements. Governance & Independence: Maintain auditor independence and ethical standards in accordance with GAGAS. Promptly identify and address threats to independence. Maintain required continuing professional education (CPE) under GAGAS.

FINISHER/CEMENT MASON The Finisher / Cement Mason is responsible for placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete on commercial and industrial construction projects, specifically those involving formwork systems. This role involves working with a variety of concrete finishes and surface treatments to achieve required textures and specifications. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in smoothing and finishing surfaces, setting forms, and applying curing and sealing compounds, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced work environment. Primary Responsibilities Responsibly perform the duties of the craft and provide their own personal hand tools as described in the Local Union Collective Bargaining Agreement. Activities primarily include the patching of concrete. Other duties may include the placement of vertical and/or horizontal concrete, handling of concrete buckets, use of power tools such as a mechanical vibrator, operating motorized equipment, standing, walking on narrow work surfaces at considerable heights above the ground with fall protection measures in place, for the placement of concrete type materials.
