Local Team Collaboration: Join our close-knit team of 15 physicians and 3 APPs at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who are supportive and collaborative with other staff and departments. Our team meets frequently to relay key information from administration, discuss group operations, and for general feedback. We have multiple committees that our providers can lead or join. Qualifications: Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine. Hospitalist experience preferred Authorized to work in the United States. Scheduling: Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation. Key Responsibilities: The hospital has a closed ICU with intensivist coverage 24/7. No procedures required. As a day hospitalist, you will perform rounding and discharges. Our hospitalist team is part of the rapid response team with intensivist support. No code responsibility - there is a code blue team. Excellent subspecialty support. We use EPIC EMR and have access to our own internal informatics platform.
