Project Executive - Commercial Construction
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Executive to oversee multiple commercial construction projects and lead project delivery teams throughout Middle Tennessee. This role is ideal for a senior‑level builder who excels at operations oversight, client relationships, business strategy, and ensuring excellence across preconstruction and field execution. Description Provide executive‑level oversight for multiple projects, ensuring alignment of schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations. Lead and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and preconstruction teams to elevate performance across all phases of the project lifecycle. Support business development through client relationships, proposal strategies, and participation in shortlist presentations. Oversee project financials, forecasting, manpower planning, and contract negotiations. Partner with preconstruction to evaluate designs, review budgets, analyze risk, and guide early project strategy. Maintain strong communication with owners, design partners, and internal leadership to ensure seamless coordination. Drive strategic planning initiatives, operational improvements, and best practices across project teams. Ensure company standards for safety, quality, and documentation are consistently upheld across all job sites. Resolve high‑level project challenges and provide guidance on complex technical or contractual matters. Profile 10 years of commercial construction experience, with strong capabilities in leading large or multi‑project portfolios. Proven success managing teams in ground‑up commercial, mixed‑use, corporate, light industrial, or multi‑building developments . Strong business acumen with the ability to forecast revenue, manage profitability, and support strategic growth initiatives. Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor and develop high‑performing teams. Deep understanding of preconstruction, cost control, scheduling, and project risk analysis. Ability to interface confidently with owners, design teams, trade partners, and executive stakeholders. A solutions‑oriented mindset with the ability to make high‑level decisions under pressure. Strong organizational skills with the discipline to maintain accurate reporting and documentation.
