As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vessels and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical skills and the ability to work with heavy machinery. Our shop is located in Williamstown, NJ, and you must be able to commute. Hours for the position are 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday Responsibilities: Preparing work plans after troubleshooting issues. Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer a suitable solution. Repairing or replacing engines, transmissions, or control systems. Sea trialing the vessel after repairs are made to verify the repair. Weld and fabricate parts as necessary. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
