Key Responsibilities Provide leadership for all clinical, professional, and administrative functions of the department. AdventHealth Neuroscience Institute, and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a fellowship trained Headache Neurology physician for our expanding program in Central Florida. We are growing into one comprehensive team that will help to grow our outpatient practice presence and sub specialization in the neurology field. This new role would join our existing team of neurologists including another neurology headache specialist to provide care at our Innovation Tower, which opened in late 2022 on our Orlando campus just north of downtown. The building houses a variety of services all in one convenient location and will be the new home of AdventHealth s Neuroscience Institute and Brain Health Program. Grouping orthopedic and neuroscience specialists in a single building will allow better collaboration between the specialists yielding benefits to patients. Our Neuroscience Institute at AdventHealth Orlando consists of 120 dedicated neurology beds which includes 40 neuro-intensive care units, 8 dedicated neurosurgical OR suites with an intraoperative 3T MRI and 64 slice CT, FDG-PET, SPECT, and MEG lab. AdventHealth also has an advanced comprehensive stroke center providing endovascular procedures 24/7. Our neurosurgery program performed more craniotomy and spine surgery than any other hospitals in Florida.
