Medical Technologist (Ashland District Hospital d/b/a Ashland Health Center) (Ashland, KS): Responsible for the daily operations and workflow of the laboratory; ensures compliance with established standards set forth by CLIA in the Code of Federal Regulations and the Department of Health and Environment; maintains and improves the level of patient care and standards of care in the laboratory and facility; conducts chemical analysis of body fluids, including blood and urine to determine presence of normal or abnormal components; analyze laboratory findings to check the accuracy of the results; operate, calibrate, and maintain equipment used in quantitative and qualitative analysis; collect and study blood and urine samples to determine the number of cells and determine their morphology, using microscopic techniques; enter data from analysis of medical tests or clinical results into computer for storage; establish or monitor quality assurance programs or activities to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results; analyze samples of biological material for chemical content or reaction, using laboratory equipment; set up, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment; provide technical information about test results to physicians, medical staff, patients, and their family members; supervise, train, or direct lab assistants, medical and clinical laboratory technicians or technologists, or other medical laboratory workers engaged in laboratory testing; develop, standardize, evaluate, or modify procedures used in the performance of laboratory testing; collect and prepare blood culture specimens using aseptic technique; actively participate in inventory and cost control measure; prepares and maintains department reports; be proficient in all specimen collection and processing; participate in proficiency testing, including investigation and documentation of corrective action as necessary; ensure that test systems provide quality service on all aspects of testing including preanalytical, analytical and postanalytical; make recommendations regarding the adequacy, efficiency, and safety of the lab facilities; adhere to established department policies and procedures, objectives, CQI, safety, environmental and other standards; maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest laboratory trends and requirements. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Knowledge of and be able to perform all moderate-complexity clinical laboratory services, including the microscopic examination of blood and urine, as well as performing arterial blood gases; Ability to write and follow laboratory policies and procedures; Ability to perform quality control and reagent lot to lot verification; Experience with interpretation and reporting of all laboratory tests; Ability to document all corrective action for QC, testing issues, or patient collection issues; Experience with the collection and processing of all types of specimens; Ability to interface with other departments and services to facilitate the delivery of patient care; Experience notifying all applicable individuals and regulatory agencies of reportable diseases per policy and requirements; Ability to refer testing issues and/or unexpected results to appropriate parties; Ability to manage multiple simultaneous responsibilities to prioritize scheduling of work; Experience with maintenance of all laboratory records in compliance with standards; and Ability to utilize the available electronic health record. Sr. Electrical Test Technician/Engineer

Job Description: Hands-on experience in a repair station, troubleshooting returned units that are in service. Involved in repairing/troubleshooting units in the Machine shop/ shop/Lab. The individual will need to: Do Open Box Troubleshooting: Ability to observe and test circuit boards to identify portions that are not functioning as intended Run thermal and vibration testing with electronic units with oscilloscope monitoring on targeted data lines Write and submit Engineering Investigation Reports/FAR’s to GAC via SEM Learn how to test for known issues with the existing product lines Develop troubleshooting tests for emerging issues with new and existing product lines Interface with the Project Engineer to support technical meetings with customer and to prioritize FARs on units that are needed to prevent AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations Interface with GAR engineers to technically discuss findings and status of investigations Access R-Card (repair shop data) and interpret the test findings and failure observations noted on the database and on the test data sheets. Interface with the Materials and Processes lab to submit lab evaluation requests and interpret the findings to the hydraulic component level findings. Collect, organize, and interpret all component test results, failure observations. SIL (System Integration Lab) testing, engineering directed testing, and lab analysis. Provide engineering directed test and inspection instructions in R-Card to the assembly and test technicians in both Ogden and Dublin to collect additional evidence and/or data to support the discovery phase of the investigation. Generate FARs per the GAC approved format to present and correlate the findings as they relate to the aircraft level fault. Determine if the failure mode is atypical and may need trend monitoring. Work is to be performed in the Customer Support Engineering office in Irvine, CA Business travel may be required when interfacing with Savannah, Ogden or Dublin engineers/repair stations. Length of travel may be up to 5 days in duration
