Overview FanDuel is looking for a Head of Social Media to lead our social strategy, content, and platform presence across all channels. This role will sit within the Marketing organization and own how FanDuel shows up in sports and culture, driving both brand relevance and measurable business impact. Responsibilities Set the strategy for how FanDuel shows up across all key social platforms. Manage and develop a team of social media experts, channel owners, and content producers who oversee the execution of the social content strategy to build fandom, support FanDuel commercial and campaign initiatives, and elevate the FanDuel brand. Establish a clear, distinctive voice that earns attention in sports and internet culture. Act as liaison and drive support across all channel and go-to-market leadership teams. Define and own a clear set of KPIs to measure growth, engagement, and business impact across social that supports broader marketing strategy. Lead an always‑on content operation spanning real‑time moments, tentpoles, and original programming. Drive customers to advocacy through engagement, leaning especially into community‑based channels (e.g. Discord). Partner with Customer Service center of excellence to evolve ways of working and optimize back‑end tech stack. Push the boundaries of format: short‑form video, live, creator‑led content. Define success through both cultural relevance and business performance with a culture of speed, accountability, and experimentation. Ensure social amplifies key priorities across multiple business units and brands. Qualifications 12 years of experience in social media, digital content, or growth marketing. Proven track record building and leading high‑performing social or content teams. Deep understanding of sports, fandom, and real‑time content dynamics. Strong creative instincts paired with a data‑driven mindset. Experience working cross‑functionally to drive measurable business outcomes. Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Benefits & Compensation The applicable salary range for this position is $171,000 - $214,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs, and market demand. This role may also be eligible for short‑term or long‑term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.
