This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical equipment and systems in our state-of-the-art facility. The role requires a high level of technical expertise, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power plant operations, with specific expertise in Transmitters, Protective relay devices, SEL brand type breaker protection devices, operating devices, and DCS or PLC systems. Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment. Monitor the operation of electrical systems and equipment to ensure effective operation and to identify and resolve problems. Maintain current knowledge of the latest methods, technology, and equipment in the field of electrical systems and equipment. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician, specifically in a power plant environment. Demonstrated proficiency with Transmitters, Protective relay devices, SEL brand type breaker protection devices, operating devices, and DCS or PLC systems. Strong knowledge of the principles, techniques, and safety precautions of the electrical trade. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must hold a valid electrician's license. Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
