Overview: Summary of Job: To coordinate the design, construction and installation of all technical aspects of live entertainment parades. Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Work as a member of the area as needed. · Demonstrate the ability communicate well, think quickly in pressure situations, and motivate a work crew. · Have a full understanding of the job responsibilities for all the positions under their direct supervision. · Develop and maintain work schedules for all staff in assigned area. · Work within other department venues and units as the need arises. · Develop procedures to make the area run properly and efficiently. · Create and develop procedures for upcoming projects and parades to run smoothly and efficiently. · Work with our Maintenance Department to ensure all floats and parade vehicles have been inspected and cleared to use daily. · Execute approved design ideas as approved by the Entertainment Production Team. · Maintain a guest first mentality ensuring all parades start on time. · Work as a resource for the team. · Navigate in, on, or around scenic elements associated with specific production in potentially dark and restrictive spaces. · Hold regular crew meetings to deliver park/department information and/or comments from Department Management · Monitor the performance of your team members. · Provide coaching, counseling and disciplinary/commendable action as needed to maintain and improve the performance of the crew. · Complete all departmental and park related paperwork. · Ensure all shows elements stay well maintained and are executed safely. · Adhere to and enforce all park policies and procedures as outlined in your Seasonal Handbook and the Department Standard Operating Procedure Manual. · Immediately reports any unsafe acts to the Managerial Supervisor. · Train new personnel as needed. · Complete all projects as asked by Managerial Supervisor.
