Read and interpret network designs, splice diagrams, construction drawings, and fiber assignment documentation. Conduct OTDR testing, fault isolation, and fiber certification testing. Complete transfer tube work and enclosure modifications. Support maintenance and emergency restoration activities as part of an on-call rotation. Maintain accurate splice records, test documentation, and as-built information. Operate company vehicle safely and professionally. Work closely with operations, engineering, and project teams to ensure network reliability and project completion. Required Qualifications 5 years of OSP fiber splicing experience. Advanced experience with ribbon fiber and loose-tube splicing. Strong troubleshooting and fault isolation capabilities. Experience performing mid-span access and drop installations. Ability to read network designs, splice matrices, and fiber documentation. Experience working with buried fiber infrastructure. Experience with OTDR testing and fiber certification. Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record. REAL ID compliant. OSHA 10 Certification. CPR Certification. Ability to participate in an on-call rotation. Ability to work both day and night shifts as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with aerial fiber construction. Experience supporting carrier, ISP, utility, or enterprise fiber networks. FOA, ETA, or manufacturer fiber certifications. Confined Space Certification. OSHA 30 Certification.
