Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer Location: Grand Prairie, TX Job ID: 71566 Pay Range: $65-78 AN HOUR ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED 6 MONTH CONTRACT We are seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer who will specialize in Modeling and Simulation (M&S) of complex technical solutions. Responsibilities include: * Design and documentation of model and simulation requirements and architecture * Develop, verify, and validate both complex models and simulations such as missile 6-degree-of-freedom simulations (6-DOF) and effects-based simulations * Evaluate system performance in complex scenarios and environments and verify system and subsystem level requirements * Perform critical studies, analyses, and test activities * Support ground and flight test efforts including Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) activities Candidate must possess an active US DoD Secret clearance. Required Experience: * Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in modeling both weapon and sensor systems. * Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience with subsystems and software engineers to integrate MATLAB models, C++ models, and tactical software into the simulations. * Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in C++ and MATLAB.
