Senior Quality Assurance Inspector

About the Role The Senior QA Inspector is responsible for performing — and training others on — first-article, in-process, rework, and final inspections of rigid and flex PCB assemblies, cable assemblies, packaging, and raw materials. You’ll utilize a range of precision tools and applications to document findings and ensure compliance with IPC standards. This role requires strong technical inspection experience, a deep understanding of electronic assemblies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with manufacturing and engineering teams. You will report directly to the Manufacturing QA Manager and regularly communicate with production and engineering leadership. Qualifications Extensive QA inspection experience with electronic and cable assemblies . Strong understanding of IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and IPC J-STD-001 standards (certifications a plus). Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, MOs, routings, and work instructions . Proficient in the use of inspection tools such as microscopes, x-ray machines, micrometers, calipers, multimeters, and digital documentation tools. Computer literacy with Microsoft Outlook, Access, Teams, and related programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of electronics and component identification. Desired Skills & Experience Experience inspecting assemblies using x-ray technology . Background working in an ISO 9001:2015 certified environment.
