Position: Welder I–III Hours: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 3:00 AM Pay Range: $19–$30/hour $2/hour Night Shift Bonus Location: Quakertown, PA The Welder is introduced to the prefabrication of exterior and interior wall panels for commercial buildings. Additionally, the Welder I receives training on various welding and assembling techniques as it pertains to wall panel production and installation. Approval for all work is required prior to the Welder I completing any tasks. Essential (Core Competencies) Duties Read and interpret shop drawings. Gather and collect materials. Accurately measure and cut miscellaneous materials. Perform panel layout in accordance with drawings. Pre-assemble panel components in preparation for weld. Perform welds to ensure panel stays secured. Assist in securing completed wall assembly onto crane, lift off jigs and move to the next operation. Attends and/or completes welder and safety training (through KLOVER Learning Management System) as required by management. Marginal Functions Perform sheathing of welded panels. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications / Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. 1 year of experience with MIG welding (can be a combination of pre or post-secondary vocational education in welding and work experience). Ability and willingness to gain proper welding certifications within two years of employment. Qualification / Preferred Education and Experience 1 year MIG welding experience (can be a combination of pre or post-secondary vocational education in welding and work experience). Experience in a manufacturing environment. Trade school/vocational education in construction/carpentry and/or commercial carpentry experience. MILAP gives free legal advice to people living in Maryland who must appear before the immigration court because they are at risk of deportation. In certain cases, MILAP steps-in to provide limited and concrete legal services to help vulnerable families and children meet the deadlines in their cases (e.g., help complete application for asylum or assist the family with changing their court location to one that is closest to where they live). Primary Responsibilities: · Staff weekly legal clinics in Baltimore City and Hyattsville to assist with registration, intake, obtain necessary client paperwork, manage flow of clients, direct immigrants to additional resources, interpret for volunteer attorneys, and other support. · Conduct brief presentations at court. · Track and summarize data related to clients served and effectiveness of legal clinics. · Share referral information and resources with immigrants who contact PBRC seeking legal help. · Increase community awareness about relevant resources, including brief legal advice clinics, case placement services and relevant city and state programs and social service resources. · Work with MILAP Team to maintain and develop a network of community partners. · Develop and implement creative outreach strategies that will connect unrepresented immigrants in removal proceedings to available legal services and resources. · Create outreach materials for volunteer recruitment and translate documents as needed. · Conduct client follow up and compile data regarding the impact of the MILAP. · Coordinate and execute interpreter volunteer sign-ups and assess fluency of volunteer interpreters. · Provide support to Project Director for grant reporting duties as needed.
