CTO (Union)

We are a global team of developers, producers, creators, and entrepreneurs in US-based corporation connecting technology, creativity, and culture through our ecosystem of products in telecom area. Across connectivity, content, commerce, and community, we build a unified platform that rethinks what a mobile network can be, combining reliable global connectivity with intelligent software, immersive content, and community-driven experiences. Our technology organization is at the center of this vision, powering everything from core connectivity infrastructure to consumer-facing applications used worldwide. About the Role As Chief Technology Officer, you will own our global technology vision and execution while remaining deeply hands‑on with the systems you lead. This is not a purely managerial role. You are expected to actively participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical problem-solving — setting the standard for engineering excellence through direct involvement. You will lead and scale the core engineering organization, serving as both a technical authority and a trusted executive partner to the CEO and leadership team. You will be responsible for building resilient platforms, developing strong engineering leaders, and ensuring that technology decisions align tightly with business priorities. Clear communication, calm leadership, and credibility earned through action are essential to success in this role. What You’ll Do Define and own long-term technology strategy across platforms, infrastructure, APIs, and developer tooling. Lead by example through hands‑on technical contribution, including architecture design, code review, and occasional direct coding where it drives impact. Build, mentor, and scale high‑performing engineering teams in Minsk and across the global footprint. Architect and oversee scalable APIs and services that support our connectivity, content, and commerce platforms with minimal friction. Establish and enforce modern engineering practices, including Agile development, CI/CD, testing standards, and operational excellence. Partner closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and Operations leaders to translate business goals into technical execution. Communicate clearly and consistently on technology status, risks, tradeoffs, and progress to executives, investors, and internal teams. Own platform reliability and security , ensuring uptime, performance, and data protection across all systems. Drive cost‑effective technical decisions , balancing speed, scalability, and long‑term maintainability. Oversee DevOps and delivery workflows , ensuring teams ship reliably and predictably. Recruit, develop, and retain senior engineering talent while strengthening leadership capacity within the organization. What Success Looks Like The technology platforms are stable, scalable, and trusted across global markets. Engineering teams operate with clarity, accountability, and strong delivery velocity. Technical decisions are well‑communicated and aligned with business outcomes. Engineering leaders are empowered, mentored, and growing under your guidance. Product launches are predictable, reliable, and supported by strong infrastructure. The technology organization is viewed internally as a strategic partner, not a bottleneck. Who We’re Looking For A senior technologist with years of hands‑on engineering experience, including several years leading teams or organizations. A builder at heart: comfortable writing, reviewing, and reasoning about production‑level code and system architecture. Experienced in designing and scaling API‑driven platforms, distributed systems, and modern cloud infrastructure. A clear, confident communicator who can explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. A calm, pragmatic leader who earns trust by doing the work, not just directing it. Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, resource‑conscious environment where priorities evolve quickly. Experienced in Agile development methodologies and modern DevOps practices. A thoughtful mentor who invests in people and builds strong engineering culture. Aligned with our mission to connect people through technology, creativity, and culture — and motivated to build systems that matter. Why Join Us? We are building something ambitious, a global platform that blends connectivity, content, and intelligence into a single ecosystem. As CTO, you will play a defining role in shaping the technological foundation of that vision while remaining close to the craft that brought you into engineering in the first place. You’ll work alongside a committed leadership team, influence decisions at the highest level, and build technology that reaches users across borders and cultures. This role offers real ownership, real responsibility, and the opportunity to lead by doing — not from the sidelines, but from inside the work itself. If you believe great technology is built by people who stay curious, stay accountable, and stay close to the code, we’d like to meet you. J-18808-Ljbffr
