Job Summary: A Diesel Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy trash trucks and associated hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and emergency maintenance on various models of diesel trash trucks, focusing on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Diagnose and repair mechanical problems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and hydraulic systems. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance according to manufacturers' specifications and company safety standards. Provide training and guidance to junior mechanics and support staff as needed. Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues.
