Associate General Counsel, Fuels Marketing (Newton)

The Associate General Counsel will work under the direction of a Senior Director, Legal Commercial and collaborate with business leaders and other members of the Legal Department to provide legal support for the Company's fuels marketing business. The position is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a broad range of commercial agreements and transactions, including dealer sales agreements with real estate and commercial finance components and other strategic initiatives. Provides legal support for regulatory inquiries, audits, and compliance initiatives affecting the Company's fuels marketing and commercial operations. Qualifications Law Degree (J.D.) and member of the Bar in at least one state where Global operates its businesses (preferably Massachusetts) is required. At least 4-7 years of in-depth experience in a corporate or transactional law firm and/or in-house working directly with operations, legal and finance teams. Experience in fuels marketing, petroleum distribution, commercial contracting, secured lending, commercial real estate, or retail operations strongly preferred.
