Job Description Job Description Hauler Part-Time: Weekend Position Saturday/Sunday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM RESPONSABILITIES INCLUDE • Arrive on time with Good Attitude and ready to work to your assigned work location. • Follow schedule and complete work orders as set by the Supervisor. • Cleanup, remove, and haul to the transfer station trash, illegal dumping and debris as directed by the Supervisor. Items may include furniture, tires, appliances, pallets, landscaping material, and/or other items. • Load and unload cargo in a safe manner. • Graffiti removal as approved by the Supervisor. • Complete work orders in a timely fashion. • Maintain clean and safe workspaces. • Perform other duties, as assigned by the Supervisor. • Work as a Day Porter when directed by the Supervisor. • Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures. • Haul items that are scheduled by 3rd party clients that need disposal, such as sofa’s, tires, refrigerator’s, pallets, and or other household and commercial items that will be disposed of at the dump by the Driver/Hauler. • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as oil, water, tires, lights, brakes and ensure that vehicle is in a safe working condition. • Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicle. • Provide invoices and receipts on a timely manner. • Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, record of cargo, photos of cargo, in accordance with regulations • Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions. • Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations using telephone, text, or email. • The Driver/Hauler is required to pick up heavy items with the support handcarts, lift gates, and or help of another employee. • The Driver/Hauler must use required safety gear and methods as per their training of their supervisor. It is your responsibility to follow all safety training and follow the training to safely complete your job each day. • The maximum weight to lift without equipment or assistance from a co-worker is 50 lbs.
