Director, PSS Rare Disease Data Strategy, Architecture and Governance (Morristown)

Job title: Director, PSS Rare Disease Data Strategy, Architecture and Governance Location: Morristown, NJ About the Job Sanofi's Rare Disease Patient Support Services (PSS) organization operates at the intersection of clinical complexity, patient intimacy, and data intensity unlike any other therapeutic area in the enterprise. This is a transformational, leadership position serving as the single point of end-to-end accountability for how PSS data is structured, governed, protected, and converted into meaningful insights, automated actions, and improved outcomes across both the post-enrollment, prescription and patient journeys. PSS Rare Disease is the only therapeutic area with patient-specific ordering and infusions and direct data input into the Sanofi iCare CRM. The data landscape spans 15 specialized datasets, complex specialty pharmacy integrations, longitudinal rare disease patient management, and hundreds of data points that — only when properly structured — become the engine behind automated workflows, PSS interventions, HCP portals, and performance management solutions. This role is not a policy-defining function alone. It is a technical implementation role that co-designs, enforces, and continuously evolves the data foundation PSS depends on. The Director must be deeply technical enough to challenge IT norms while remaining business-aligned and influential enough to prioritize value — serving as a co-designer and decision-maker, not a requestor, in all data-related discussions. Join the team transforming care for people with immune challenges, rare diseases, cancers, and neurological conditions. In Specialty Care, you'll help deliver breakthrough treatments that bring hope to patients with some of the highest unmet needs. About Sanofi We're an R&D-driven, AI-powered biopharma company committed to improving people's lives and delivering compelling growth. Our deep understanding of the immune system — and innovative pipeline — enables us to invent medicines and vaccines that treat and protect millions of people around the world. Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people's lives. Main Responsibilities Digital & Data Strategy Leadership Own the PSS perspective on the Digital roadmap and align all data-producing digital initiatives with PSS business objectives Bridge the enterprise teams of Digital/IT, US Data Management, Product Services and PSS Operations, ensuring PSS requirements are prioritized Provide strategic oversight of core data platforms and emerging technologies As the primary liaison, represent PSS data interests to PSS business stakeholders, IT/Digital, Risk/Compliance groups, and in enterprise governance forums Data Architecture & Platform Integration Design and own the PSS perspective on end-to-end PSS data architecture spanning core data platforms, SP systems, data mesh, and integrated enterprise analytics environments to achieve maximum interoperability Define how data is structured across the prescription, buy-and-bill, and hub patient journey Architect, document and represent to non-technical audiences how hundreds of data points — status updates, denial codes, missing information flags, transaction messages — are integrated for maximum utility to facilitate insights, automation, and action Define integration patterns with IT/Digital including APIs, data pipelines, and controlled data sharing zones Manage and evolve growing datasets including EHR, evolving digital ecosystem partners, and specialty pharmacy or distributor data Ensure data flows support real-time and near-real-time PSS operational needs Data Stewardship & Quality Defend the standards of existing infrastructure and actively assess and plan for the integration of new brand launches, data sources, or processes Define and maintain the meaning, context, and intended use of all PSS data elements; own the data catalog and ensure full data lineage to support audits Design, implement, and enforce data quality rules and validation standards across all PSS data sources — including 15 core datasets and all incoming vendor feeds from SPs, hub platforms, payer systems, and other partners Governance, Access & Compliance Drive and safeguard infrastructure change management by implementing and auditing data, process, and infrastructure changes Collaborate with US Data Privacy to define data classification standards (PHI, non-PHI, sensitive, restricted) across all PSS data domains; design and enforce data access policy and use models including consent management and data retention Ensure the sufficiency of data and architectural safeguards to assure full HIPAA compliance and other regulatory frameworks in both policy and technical implementation for both structured and agentic AI modes of access Evaluate data and business improvement opportunities with new data acquisitions and prevent data redundancy About You Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Data Science, or related field preferred 7–10 years of experience in data architecture, data governance, or data engineering; at least 3–5 years in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or patient services Demonstrated experience with J-18808-Ljbffr

Founding CTO / Technical Co-Founder (Tampa)

HQOS is building an operating intelligence and action platform for owner-led businesses. Small-business owners already use accounting software, payroll systems, POS platforms, CRMs, marketing tools, and dashboards. What they often do not have is an experienced executive team helping them understand what is changing, what matters most, and what action to take next. HQOS is designed to become that missing layer. The platform will connect signals from across the business, identify risks and opportunities, explain what they mean in plain English, and help owners move from information to decision, plan, action, and measurable result. HQOS is not being built as another dashboard. It is being built as the trusted operating and action layer for owner-led businesses. Our mission: The perspective of an executive team, built around your business. See what’s changing. Know what matters. Take the next right action. HQOS manages the signals, so you can focus on the mission. The Opportunity About HQOS: HQOS is building an operating intelligence and action platform for owner-led businesses. Our mission: The perspective of an executive team, built around your business. See what’s changing. Know what matters. Take the next right action. HQOS manages the signals, so you can focus on the mission. The Opportunity We are looking for a Founding Chief Technology Officer and Technical Co-Founder to help transform the HQOS vision into a scalable technology company. This is not a traditional CTO role overseeing an established engineering department. It is a genuine co-founder opportunity for someone who wants to help shape the product, architecture, company, culture, and long-term mission from the beginning. The founding CTO will work directly with the founder to: Establish the technical vision and architecture Unify the company’s product and technical presentation Define a disciplined and achievable MVP Begin building the initial product Strengthen HQOS’s technical credibility with accelerators, investors, pilot partners, and future customers Build the foundation for a scalable engineering and product organization HQOS has already received invitations to accelerator programs while still in its early validation stage. To fully capitalize on those opportunities, strengthen the company’s funding position, and begin product execution, HQOS needs the right technical co-founder at the table. The Founding Partnership Before outside funding, both founders will agree to a clear and realistic weekly commitment. The expectation is not unlimited unpaid availability. It is a defined founder-to-founder commitment focused on making measurable progress each week. The initial partnership will concentrate on: Pressure-testing the product vision Defining the technical structure Finalizing the MVP scope Building the technical roadmap Selecting the appropriate technology stack Creating an initial prototype or working MVP Preparing for accelerator and investor discussions Strengthening the company’s overall funding readiness Once an agreed funding or revenue milestone is reached, both founding members will transition into full-time roles with HQOS. The exact weekly commitment, responsibilities, decision rights, milestones, equity structure, vesting schedule, and deferred compensation terms will be discussed openly and documented formally. What You Will Own As the founding technical leader, you will own or lead: HQOS’s technical strategy and long‑term architecture Translation of product requirements into a focused MVP roadmap Selection of the technology stack, cloud infrastructure, databases, and development tools AI architecture, model strategy, retrieval systems, agents, and workflow automation Secure integrations with accounting, payroll, POS, CRM, marketing, and other operational platforms The platform’s core data model, permissions, and integration framework Development and technical leadership of the initial MVP Security, privacy, reliability, and scalability standards Evaluation of APIs, models, automation tools, and third‑party technology partners Technical preparation for investor, accelerator, and partner conversations Future recruiting and leadership of the engineering and product organization The balance between development speed, cost, usability, technical quality, and long‑term scale During the first phase, this will be a hands‑on role. The founding CTO should be comfortable personally building, prototyping, reviewing code, or directly managing those doing the work. What We Are Building HQOS is designed to help business owners move from scattered information to confident execution. The platform will help an owner: See an important issue or opportunity Understand why it matters Choose a direction Test what is realistically possible Build a plan Turn the plan into specific actions Measure what changed Learn from the result Initial product areas include: Today: What needs the owner’s attention now HQ: The business at a glance Actions: What needs to be done Boardroom: Work through important business decisions Build: Create the tools, plans, and resources the business needs Results: Measure what changed and what it was worth The initial market will focus on owner‑led businesses, beginning with industries such as restaurants and home services. Market Opportunity HQOS is not envisioned as a small, short‑term, or narrowly focused product. The long‑term objective is to build the category‑leading operating and action platform for owner‑led businesses. Total Addressable Market: $62.3 billion ARR Serviceable Addressable Market: $19.6 billion ARR Initial Serviceable Obtainable Market: $25.1 million ARR HQOS has the potential to support millions of businesses that currently operate without the coordinated financial, operational, strategic, and decision‑making support available to larger organizations. Our goal is to become a long‑term leader and trusted supporter of Main Street America’s mission to survive, grow, employ people, create opportunity, and succeed. Who We Are Looking For The right person may already be a CTO, technical founder, or engineering leader. However, we are equally interested in exceptional professionals who are in the middle of their careers and know they are capable of building something larger than their current position allows. Relevant backgrounds may include: Software Engineer Senior or Staff Software Engineer Full‑Stack Engineer Backend Developer or Backend Engineer Solutions Architect Cloud Architect Platform Engineer AI or Machine Learning Engineer Data Engineer Engineering Manager Technical Product Leader Fractional CTO ready to become a full‑time founder A perfect résumé is less important than the right combination of technical ability, judgment, integrity, drive, and founder mentality. You may be a strong fit if you: Have experience building SaaS, AI, data, analytics, automation, or business intelligence products Can think strategically while remaining willing to build Understand cloud architecture, APIs, integrations, databases, and data security Have experience with large language models, AI agents, retrieval systems, machine learning, or workflow automation Care about solving meaningful business problems rather than creating more software noise Want real ownership and influence over what is built Are prepared to make decisions as an owner rather than simply complete assignments as an employee Have the resilience and willingness to fight for a mission you believe in Experience with small‑business technology, accounting, fintech, payroll, restaurants, home services, enterprise integrations, or operational management is valuable but not required. Current Stage HQOS is currently in the validation, pilot‑development, and early technical‑planning stage. Operating in over 160 countries and handling more than 120 currencies, we are a leading processor of USD payments with daily transaction volumes in the trillions. As a Vice President, Applied AI/ML Lead (Sr Level IC role) within JPMorgan Chase Payments, you will own and drive the end-to-end delivery of high-impact AI/ML capabilities across the payments ecosystem—while remaining deeply hands-on. You will apply modern neural networks (including Transformers) to build, fine-tune, distill, and deploy models that improve fraud/risk outcomes, operational automation, and client experience, operating under real-world constraints (latency, scale, reliability, explainability, and governance). You will set technical direction, establish standards, and lead execution through influence—partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Data teams. Job responsibilities Own a major AI/ML problem area end-to-end (e.g., transaction risk & fraud, anomaly detection, payment exceptions automation, routing/authorization optimization), from opportunity sizing and problem framing through production rollout and iteration. Design and build production-grade ML systems that operate at payments scale, balancing accuracy, latency, throughput, and cost across batch, near-real-time, and real-time inference patterns. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field, plus 6 years of industry experience delivering applied ML (or PhD with equivalent applied experience). Demonstrated track record of shipping ML models into production with measurable business impact, including iteration post-launch (monitoring, retraining, recalibration, and continuous improvement). Strong hands-on expertise in neural networks and Transformers, including practical experience with: Fine-tuning strategies (e.g., full fine-tuning and parameter-efficient methods) Distillation / compression (teacher–student, quantization-aware approaches, latency/cost-driven optimization) Robust evaluation and failure-mode analysis for real-world deployment Strong software engineering skills in Python, with deep experience in PyTorch or TensorFlow and standard ML/data libraries. Experience building data-driven systems using SQL and distributed processing (e.g., Spark/PySpark or equivalent). Cloud and production experience on AWS (or equivalent cloud), including deploying services/pipelines and operating them reliably at scale. Ability to take ambiguous business problems and turn them into structured ML plans: data strategy, modeling approach, evaluation, rollout, and operationalization. Excellent communication skills, including explaining tradeoffs (accuracy vs latency, risk vs customer friction, complexity vs maintainability) to both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Payments domain experience: fraud/risk, transaction monitoring, identity/account takeover, disputes/chargebacks, sanctions/AML-adjacent signal work, payment exceptions and investigations, routing/authorization optimization, or treasury/transaction banking. Experience with streaming/real-time architectures and feature generation (e.g., event-driven systems, point-in-time correctness, leakage prevention). Strong ML platform/MLOps exposure: feature stores, model registries, CI/CD for ML, scalable training/inference, observability, and governance workflows. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) where relevant.
