Senior Staff / Principal Ai & Compute Architect (California)

Zoox's Advanced Hardware Engineering team is responsible for the design, development, and innovation of sensor technology, networking, and the main compute platform for our vehicles. In this role, you will work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team to architect our next-generation compute platforms, both on-vehicle and in-cloud. You will leverage your industry experience and analytical mindset to ensure Zoox remains at the leading edge of autonomous driving through careful balancing of hardware ranging from off-the-shelf to full-custom silicon. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.
