Position Highlights - Lead our Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program which consists of 8 residents per year, making this program one of the two largest Medicine-Pediatrics residency programs in the Northeast. Baystate Medical Center is a 716-bed independent academic medical center with 32 residency and fellowship programs and is also a teaching site of the UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate. Baystate Children’s Hospital is the only fully accredited children’s hospital in Western Mass with 107 beds (55 NICU, 7 PICU and 45 Child and Adolescent unit) and a specific pediatric emergency department. Baystate Children’s Specialty Center houses ten ambulatory pediatric subspecialties and a general pediatric primary and complex care ambulatory practice. Baystate Children’s Hospital is home to a categorical pediatrics residency (9 residents per year).
