Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager (Level L) to support the Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) Operations team in Everett, Washington. The ESRC Operations team plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality wire harnesses, family group assemblies, power panels, and electrical shelf assemblies for Boeing's iconic commercial jetliners, including the 737, 747, 767, and 777, as well as military derivatives such as the P8A, 767 Tanker. Our commitment extends beyond production; we provide essential emergent support for new airplane production, warranty repairs, modifications, and post-delivery assistance to ensure we meet spares and Airplane on Ground (AOG) requirements. The successful candidate will have a strong background, proven track record, and demonstrated ability in performance-driven organizational leadership, lean manufacturing, effective communication, and to foster a safe and participative environment. Position Responsibilities: Leads, develops, and motivates employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies Promote employee engagement and build an organizational culture that fosters safety and quality performance, improves employee satisfaction and retains and develops a skilled and motivated workforce Forecasts resource needs, obtains and manages personnel, facilities, equipment, and training and tools to meet operating requirements Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and upholds relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Leads and manages rapid, emergent statement of work Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5 years of experience in a leadership role leading various teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change 5 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role 5 years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment 5 years of manufacturing experience driving improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation and people on production and development programs Experience in a role that required excellent verbal and written skills with ability to communicate task progress and challenges within team and with technical leadership, both internal and external (such as customers) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership Experience implementing lean principles Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) Emotional intelligence and resilience Experience in a role that required excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
