The RN Quality Assurance Manager will oversee clinical documentation quality, OASIS accuracy, chart audits, ICD coding review, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives across the agency. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented home health RN who understands the importance of documentation accuracy, patient outcomes, Medicare compliance, and clinical excellence. Responsibilities Conduct clinical record audits and documentation reviews Review OASIS documentation for accuracy, consistency, and compliance Monitor ICD coding accuracy and support proper clinical documentation Evaluate assessment processes, care plans, and chart completion Identify trends in quality data and recommend process improvements Support QA/QI initiatives across the home health agency Ensure compliance with Medicare, state, federal, and accreditation standards Partner with clinical leadership on best practices, staff education, and documentation improvement Help maintain strong patient outcomes, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance Qualifications Active Registered Nurse / RN license required Home Health Agency experience required OASIS experience required Quality Assurance, QA/QI, chart audit, or clinical documentation experience strongly preferred ICD coding knowledge preferred Strong understanding of Medicare, home health regulations, and clinical compliance Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Ability to collaborate with clinical leaders, field nurses, and administrative teams Strong commitment to patient care quality, documentation accuracy, and regulatory excellence Ideal Background This could be a strong fit for someone currently working as a Home Health QA Nurse, OASIS Review Nurse, RN Clinical Documentation Specialist, RN Clinical Supervisor, Home Health RN Case Manager, RN Quality Coordinator, RN Compliance Nurse, or Registered Nurse Quality Assurance Manager.
