The incumbent also provides inpatient and outpatient interventional psychiatry care such as ketamine infusion, electromagnetic stimulation treatment, and transmagnetic stimulation treatment to veterans as part of a multidisciplinary team. The psychiatrist also provides supervision and mentorship of UCSF trainees, and also serves as VA faculty back up for on call residents at the SFVA. The incumbent works with a multidisciplinary team providing mental health care to Veterans with diagnoses such as Schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders as well as complex/treatment-resistant mood disorders including Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, and Anxiety Disorders.
