This individual’s principal goals are to develop solutions and methodologies that allow for the effective and smooth management of an infrastructure that supports DAI’s Business Units, Corporate Service departments and project offices and to attain service level agreements for users across the organization. The Senior Director, IT Operations will plan, design, and direct all operational activities of the IT Operations department, as well as provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission‑critical business operations. The Director/Senior Director, IT Operations will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost‑effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. Roles and Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Collaborate with Vice President, Information Management and Technology to formulate and deploy long‑term strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost‑effective information processing and communication technologies. Manage IT department operational and strategic planning, including business requirements, project planning, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources. Guide business and IT leaders in making investment decisions that balance and prioritize current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the longer‑term strategic vision of the organization. Operational Management Where necessary, re‑engineer infrastructure support to ensure it aligns with business processes, tactical planning, and strategic vision. Develop and review budgets for and from IT department divisions and ensure they comply with stated goals, guidelines, and objectives. Review performance of IT systems to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements. Develop bid requirements for all hardware and software upgrades, review submitted bids for compliance with stated requirements, and make the appropriate award. Authorize and oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all hardware and software based on department needs. Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives. Direct research on potential technology solutions and implementations in support of new initiatives, opportunities, and procurement efforts. Oversee provision of end‑user services, including help desk and technical support services. Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision. Oversee negotiation and administration of vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements. Manage IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions. Establish and maintain regular written and in‑person communications with the organization’s senior leaders, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent IT activities. ROLE OVERVIEW Pivot Energy is hiring a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to drive Pivot’s product formulation, market strategy, partner engagement, and portfolio commercialization of distributed solar and storage assets. As a key member of the executive team, the CCO will build upon and optimize Pivot’s existing strengths, including innovative impact-driven development, a track record of delivering for high-profile corporate clients, leadership in policy engagement, and the sector’s strongest greenfield development engine while driving innovation and growth. Pivot’s market is rapidly transforming, with portfolios of distributed assets increasingly seen as compelling options to deliver energy, capacity, RECs, and community impact on a shorter timeline and at lower costs than other sources.
