A strong backlog provides steady production demand, while substantial overtime is available for machinists who want additional hours. ⚙️ What you'll be doing Take new Swiss machining jobs from print through programming, complete setup, prove-out, first article, and stable production Program and fully set up Citizen or Tsugami CNC Swiss machines Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, and inspection requirements Select tooling, collets, guide bushings, and other setup components Establish and refine speeds, feeds, offsets, and cutting conditions Troubleshoot programs, tooling, dimensions, surface finishes, and process variation independently Optimize cycle times, tool life, part quality, and production reliability Complete first-article inspections and make necessary program or offset changes Create and maintain clear programs, setup information, and tooling documentation Work with Engineering, Quality, and Production while launching new work ️ Machines, controls & inspection Machines: Citizen and Tsugami CNC Swiss machines Machining: Multi-axis CNC Swiss turning and production machining Inspection: Micrometers, calipers, indicators, and applicable precision gauges Technical requirements: Blueprint reading, GD&T, tooling selection, offsets, speeds and feeds, first-article inspection, and process optimization Experience with either Citizen or Tsugami Swiss machines is required.
