Many customers start self‑serve, then partner with our team as they scale. As a Solutions Engineer focused on our Enterprise segment, you’ll work with our largest prospects and customers to drive complex evaluations, design scalable architectures, and guide executive stakeholders through the journey from pilot to global rollout. You’ll partner closely with Account Executives and cross‑functional teams to run deep discovery, deliver tailored demos and POCs, and advise on security, governance, and integrations that meet enterprise standards. You’ll also help shape our internal tooling, content, and processes while staying close to customers. What You’ll Achieve Partner with AEs on strategic opportunities in the Enterprise segment to understand goals, risks, and success criteria across business and technical stakeholders Lead discovery and design solution approaches in Notion that span knowledge management, projects, and databases, including data modeling and information architecture at scale Deliver persuasive executive‑level presentations & demos, and facilitate hands‑on pilots/POCs that prove value, adoption, and measurable ROI Guide enterprise security, privacy, and procurement processes including RFPs, DPA reviews, and risk assessments in partnership with Security and Legal Build proof‑of‑concepts and example workspaces that showcase how Notion consolidates point tools and enables cross‑functional workflows Capture and communicate structured product feedback and enterprise requirements to Product and Engineering; influence roadmap with clear use cases and impact Contribute enablement content for sales and SE teams, including demo assets, talk tracks, competitive insights, and repeatable playbooks for enterprise use cases Document patterns, field learnings, and best practices to strengthen our internal knowledge base and accelerate future deals Skills You’ll Need To Bring 6 years in a customer‑facing technical role such as Solutions/Sales Engineer, Solution Consultant, or similar, ideally at a high‑growth SaaS company Track record supporting complex enterprise deals with multiple stakeholders, security reviews, and procurement cycles Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, from white‑boarding architectures to executive‑level value framing Strong project leadership with the ability to run multiple evaluations in parallel, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and deliver crisp next steps Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast‑changing environment Nice To Haves Hands‑on experience with Notion as a power user or workspace admin Experience working in early‑stage companies & building processes Exposure to AI/automation use cases and platform extensibility, including AI Agents and integrations with AI systems like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Salesforce Experience leading RFPs, security questionnaires, and enterprise procurement processes Background in management consulting, solution architecture, or change management for large deployments Equal Opportunity Employer Notion is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated range for total on‑target earnings (including base salary and on‑target incentive pay) for this role is $220,000 – $260,000 per year. Own profiling, batching, and autoscaling across single-tenant and multi-tenant environments.
