Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, ensuring thorough documentation of cases from the initial consultation to the end of treatment. \n Assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, crafting evidence-based intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups. \n Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques that promote healing and resilience. \n Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed and documenting outcomes to ensure effective care delivery. \n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including other mental health specialists, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers, to formulate comprehensive intervention plans. \n Provide follow-up care in partnership with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care. \n Identify, address, and mitigate behaviors that hinder recovery, empowering clients and their families in the therapeutic process. \n Educate family members and primary caregivers on mental health challenges and strategies for management, fostering a healthier support system. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n At Robina Behavioral Health Center, our clients represent a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, seeking support for various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Our approach is client-centered, focusing on understanding the unique experiences of each individual to provide tailored therapeutic interventions that enhance their mental health and overall well-being. Qualifications\n \n A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania. \n Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE). \n Demonstrated previous experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally within an outpatient setting. \n Proficiency in electronic health record systems, especially AVATAR, to manage patient documentation efficiently. \n Understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders. \n Familiarity with the best practices recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA). \n Strong written and verbal communication capabilities, complemented by excellent interpersonal skills. \n Empathetic nature and a passion for advocating for clients’ mental health needs. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience working with diverse populations and a strong understanding of cultural sensitivity in mental health care. \n Knowledge of psychopharmacology and the effects of medications prescribed by physicians on mental health. \n Experience implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). \n Compensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
