Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct personalized assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapeutic strategies for clients. \n Deliver a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, which may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, in one-on-one and group settings. \n Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. \n Collaborate effectively with our multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and cohesive care options for clients. \n Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest advancements in mental health treatment and research. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n As an LMHC at Norton Mental Health and Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups facing a broad spectrum of mental health issues. Our aim is to offer support to those who often face barriers to accessing mental health services, including underprivileged communities impacted by socioeconomic challenges. You will engage with patients who may suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance misuse, among other concerns. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. \n Active and unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. \n A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting is essential. \n A strong understanding of legal, ethical standards, and privacy practices in mental health care is necessary. \n Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Specialization or demonstrated experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling is highly preferred. \n Proven capability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment. \n Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and relevant technological tools is a plus. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
