Work Environment\n This role is designed for a telehealth setting, which means that while you work from the comfort of your home, you will remain fully engaged with your clients through secure and reliable video conferencing tools. The role offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with necessary flexibility to accommodate patients' needs. As a remote position, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that prioritizes the delivery of quality care above all. Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gain insight into each patient’s history and the specific impact of trauma, ensuring that assessments guide the treatment approach. \n Develop personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies, integrating both short-term and long-term therapeutic goals. \n Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to create a safe space for healing, including methodologies like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). \n Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic tools that promote healing and effective coping mechanisms for dealing with trauma. \n Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless communication for comprehensive care management. \n Provide essential crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, acting swiftly to mitigate the immediate impact. \n Educate both patients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and coping strategies that can aid in the healing process. \n Diligently maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with ethical standards and regulatory compliance. \n Engage in ongoing professional development through training, case consultations, and team meetings focused on the latest developments in trauma-informed care and best practices. \n Stay current with emerging research in trauma interventions, proactively incorporating new findings into therapeutic practice. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The individuals we serve are primarily trauma survivors, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders. Our approach is rooted in deep empathy and a commitment to understanding the unique experiences of each patient. As part of our mission, we target underserved communities where patients may face additional barriers to accessing mental health care. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is mandatory. \n A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health, emphasizing trauma-informed care. \n Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and relevant treatment modalities, coupled with a commitment to continuous learning and self-care. \n Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient interaction. \n The ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, exhibiting resilience even in challenging environments. \n Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and strong computer skills. \n A collaborative spirit, working seamlessly as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on holistic patient care. \n Preferred Experience\n While a minimum of two years post-licensure experience is required, candidates with a background in trauma-focused therapeutic interventions will be highly valued. Any experience in telehealth or remote service delivery is a plus, given the position’s virtual nature. Compensation and Benefits\n The compensation package for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
