Job Details We are a engineering firm seeking an experienced professional to lead electrical design projects from early planning through construction closeout. This role combines technical design expertise with project management responsibilities, ensuring high-quality and coordinated deliverables for building systems projects. Role Overview Manage electrical engineering projects through all phases — programming, schematic design, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration. Design and oversee systems such as power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage communications. Work directly with clients, architects, and other consultants to develop project scope, budgets, and schedules. Produce and review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Provide construction-phase support including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits. Support business development efforts by maintaining client relationships and contributing to presentations for new opportunities. Preferred Project Experience: Higher education, K-12, healthcare, commercial office, retail, hospitality, and multi-family residential projects. Qualifications: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in South Carolina, or ability to obtain licensure within the state. Skilled in Revit and AutoCAD; proficiency in lighting design software as well Familiarity with SKM or similar power distribution modeling tools preferred.
