Manufacturing Engineer II
Marvin, a leader in crafting bespoke windows and doors since 1912, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer II to join our engineering and maintenance team. In this role, you will leverage advanced engineering techniques to enhance production processes, ensuring that Marvin?s tradition of quality and innovation continues to meet the modern demands of functionality and design. Your expertise in manufacturing engineering will play a crucial role in optimizing our product output while upholding our commitment to sustainability and efficiency. Develop, evaluate, and enhance manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout to maximize efficiency. Assess project and resource requirements, including scheduling and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within cost targets. Implement quality control processes to minimize production issues and maintain high-quality standards for all company products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate innovative technologies and methods in the manufacturing process. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and work to improve the environmental performance of production facilities. Document all phases of research and development, and provide detailed process reports. Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma. Excellent project management skills. Ability to work independently as well as in team settings.
