Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinician II will work collaboratively with physicians, staff and other health care professionals to provide a smooth health care continuum for all patients within the clinic setting. Description POSITION SUMMARY: An integral member of the surgical team who provides support for surgeons throughout the operation by preparing, providing and caring for instruments and equipment and maintaining a sterile field. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from a school of Surgical Technology preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: BLS certification required prior to end of probationary period. SKILLS: Knowledge of care and handling of instruments and equipment. Paramedic - Texarkana Freestanding Emergency Department - Full Time

Description Summary: The Paramedic is a certified and/or licensed paramedic and is part of the hospital’s Emergency Department patient care team. The ED Paramedic collaboratively works in a complementary and assistive role with nursing. Under the direct clinical supervision of the licensed physician present in the same area or adjacent area, the paramedic provides assistance and performs procedures, and is authorized to provide advanced life support, administer medications and perform a patient evaluation of signs and symptoms based on their field skill sets. Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Critical Care Technician (CCT) is responsible for competent care of patients in the medical setting, and reacts quickly and effectively to critical and emergency situations. Competent in essential functions as listed below. The CCT communicates with interdisciplinary team about duties, responsibilities, and findings. Description Summary: As defined by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), surgical assistants provide aid in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. In addition to intraoperative duties, the surgical assistant also performs preoperative and postoperative duties to better facilitate proper patient care. The surgical assistant performs these functions under the direction and supervision of the surgeon and in accordance with hospital policy and appropriate laws and regulations. The surgical assistant performs specific tasks according to individual surgeon preference utilizing appropriate techniques including, but not limited to: incision and layered closure of surgical sites, providing exposure, achieving hemostasis by means of injection, manual, and topical methods, and application of appropriate energy sources, manipulation and dissection/removal of tissues, aides in implanting, securing, and/or removal of devices and drains, and applying appropriate dressing material specific to procedure.
