Designs and tests tooling for machining processes. Performs programming for CNC machines. Analyzes process / equipment problems for long term solutions. Continuously improves assigned area processes. Performs process testing as assigned. Participates in Kaizen teams. Participates in Daily Operations Review activity. Administer process changes in engineering documents. Assesses spare part issues and makes appropriate changes as approved. Grooms new equipment to meet production and quality requirements. Performs equipment capability studies and P.F.M.E.A. Determines new equipment layout for approval. Assists with new capital purchase. Makes engineering reports as required for process development or troubleshooting. Performs housekeeping duties as required. Project administration for process changes (i.e. new products, etc.).
