Electrical Engineer
Electrical Engineer – Industrial / Process Facilities Seeking an Electrical Engineer (5–10 years) with experience in industrial, chemical, or high-hazard environments . This role supports design and construction of process-driven facilities , including new builds and complex upgrades. Key Responsibilities Design electrical systems for industrial/process facilities (power distribution, MCCs, lighting, controls) Perform load calculations, short circuit & coordination studies, and arc flash analysis Develop drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit (one-lines, panel schedules, layouts) Support instrumentation and controls (I&C) and interface with process/controls engineers Specify and select equipment (transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, UPS systems) Work within NEC, NFPA, and applicable industrial safety standards Conduct site visits for field verification, redlines, and commissioning support Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, construction) Target Background Experience in chemical plants, manufacturing, energy, or other industrial environments Familiarity with hazardous locations (Class I Div 1/2, ATEX, etc.) strongly preferred Understanding of process equipment integration (pumps, skids, reactors, etc.) Exposure to PLC/SCADA systems, instrumentation, or controls design is a plus Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit Strong communication and ability to work in field design environments Why This Role is Different This is not a typical commercial MEP role — projects involve process-driven systems, hazardous environments, and complex industrial facilities , requiring close coordination with process and controls engineering teams .
