What We Offer: $25.00 - $42.00 per hour, based on experience 40 hours per week Medical, Dental, Vision plans Free Basic Life Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability 401k Match Company Cellphone Paid Holidays Paid Time off What You’ll Do: Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings Fabricate, assemble, and install commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems Measure, mark, and layout materials for installation using industry-standard tools Coordinate with other trades to ensure efficient installation of HVAC equipment and duct systems Install HVAC equipment including: Air Handlers VAV Boxes Rooftop Units (RTUs) Exhaust Fans Unit Heaters Related Mechanical Equipment Fasten and seal ductwork and sheet metal components using appropriate methods and materials Install furnace casings, flashings, and other HVAC-related sheet metal assemblies Use hand and power tools to cut, trim, grind, smooth, and finish metal surfaces Maintain a clean and safe jobsite Follow all company and OSHA safety standards Complete daily reports and communicate project progress as required What You’ll Bring: High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Strong mathematical and measurement skills Ability to safely operate hand and power tools Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed Basic computer skills for email communication, documentation, and project updates Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to work in varying weather conditions and construction environments Preferred Qualifications: 1–4 years of commercial HVAC or sheet metal installation experience OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification Knowledge of commercial building codes and construction practices State trade license (where applicable) Experience installing commercial ductwork and HVAC equipment Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work at heights Ability to work in confined spaces and active construction environments Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day Working with our Company: Knights Mechanical is a Mechanical Contractor and part of Ascension Property Services (APS) a nationwide group of specialty trade contractors with decades of experience in nearly all types of construction, including commercial, healthcare, educational, hospitality, manufacturing, and institutional.
