Pharmacy Technician Compensation • The pay for this position is $26.00 per hour • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Pharmacy Technician Highlights • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs • The required availability for this position is Sunday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM and Monday – Thursday 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM • Onsite position in Everett, WA • Central Fill Pharmacy environment with no patient interaction, phone calls, or insurance processing • Fast-paced, high-volume automated pharmacy fulfillment environment Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities • Accurately and efficiently fill prescription requests in a high-volume automated refill setting • Manually fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules based on prescription instructions • Read computer-generated screens to identify correct medication, size, and strength from labeled shelves • Perform basic math calculations and accurate counting to fill prescriptions correctly • Replenish medications in automated dispensing cells and scan barcodes using handheld scanners • Enter expiration dates and lot numbers into the computer system • Maintain high attention to detail to avoid cross-contamination and perform quality checks on medications • Prepare cold-chain and specialty prescriptions according to specific packaging and handling requirements • Assist with packing and shipping prescription orders • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and pharmacy procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy • Perform weekly cycle counts and inventory audits as assigned by the Inventory Manager • Assist with identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies • Recognize and escalate issues to management when necessary Requirements • High School Diploma or GED • Pharmacy Technician experience preferred • Basic math and computer skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-style environment • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience in a central fill, mail-order, or high-volume pharmacy environment • Experience using automated pharmacy dispensing systems or handheld scanning devices If you think this position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
