The CFO is responsible for the company's financial strategy, capital allocation, budgeting and forecasting, debt and liquidity management, operating performance analysis, acquisitions and integration economics, financial controls, and the financial underwriting of new business initiatives. The role requires much more than accurate reporting. The CFO must understand how the business makes money at the store, platform and enterprise levels; test management assumptions; identify risks early; and ensure that growth, acquisitions and capital investments translate into sustainable EBITDA, free cash flow, debt reduction and long-term enterprise value. Key Responsibilities Partner with the CEO and Board on financial strategy, capital structure, long-range planning and enterprise-value creation. Own the annual budget, rolling forecast and long-range financial planning processes, with clear accountability for revenue, margin, payroll, operating expense, EBITDA, cash flow and balance-sheet performance. Provide independent, decision-oriented analysis of significant operating and strategic initiatives, including downside cases and sensitivities. Lead capital allocation discipline across maintenance capital, contractual refreshes, remodels, new stores, technology, branded concepts, acquisitions and other growth investments. Establish and enforce ROI standards including payback, ROIC, IRR, cost of capital, working capital and post-investment performance reviews. Manage the company's bank relationships, syndicated debt facilities, liquidity, leverage, fixed-charge coverage, covenant compliance, revolver usage and debt-reduction strategy. Lead financial underwriting of acquisitions and track post-close integration, synergy capture and returns versus the original investment thesis. Evaluate new partnerships, leases, licenses, concessions and branded concepts, including revenue-sharing, percentage rent, royalties, minimum guarantees, capital requirements and break-even economics. Oversee accounting, financial reporting, audit, tax, treasury, controls, inventory accounting, lease accounting and financial systems through a strong finance organization. Continuously assess corporate and field cost structures, organizational efficiency, productivity and opportunities for sustainable margin improvement. Communicate financial performance and risk candidly and concisely to the CEO, Board, lenders, operating leaders and outside advisors. Operating and Commercial Scope Understand and evaluate the economics of multi-location retail across Attraction, Destination and Hospitality environments. Analyze COGS, gross margin, inventory turns, store labor, partner distributions, rent and occupancy, store operating expenses and corporate overhead. Distinguish true organic growth and productivity improvement from acquisition growth, inflation, traffic changes, new-store additions or accounting presentation. Challenge proposed initiatives when expected returns are unsupported, while helping operating teams identify structures that can produce an acceptable return. Candidate Experience Significant CFO or senior finance leadership experience in a business of comparable scale and complexity. Experience managing a leveraged balance sheet and institutional or syndicated bank relationships. Meaningful exposure to multi-location retail, hospitality, attractions, restaurants, consumer businesses or another unit-level operating model. Direct involvement in acquisitions, integration and synergy realization. Experience evaluating leases, partnership agreements, licensing arrangements and new-unit investments. Demonstrated leadership of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, treasury and financial reporting. Strong working knowledge of GAAP, controls, tax implications and financial systems. Direct experience presenting to Boards and lenders. Critical Capabilities and Leadership Traits Exceptional financial modeling and analytical capability, including P&L, cash flow, working capital, capital allocation, debt, covenant, acquisition and scenario analysis. Strong commercial judgment and the ability to connect operating activity to cash generation and returns on invested capital. Intellectual curiosity and healthy skepticism: the instinct to test whether an assumption or KPI actually makes economic sense. Independent judgment and the confidence to disagree constructively with senior executives, advisors or operating teams when appropriate. Clear, concise communication; the ability to explain the financial conclusion before presenting the supporting model. Calmness under pressure, pragmatism, decisiveness and the ability to operate effectively with incomplete information. A strong orientation toward cash flow, leverage, return on capital and enterprise value rather than revenue growth or accounting optics alone. Salary Range: $350,000.00-$400,000.00 plus profit sharing Core mandate: Support growth when the returns justify it, challenge it when they do not, and continually connect strategic decisions to cash generation, return on capital, balance-sheet strength and long-term shareholder value. Director of Product (South Wales)

About Eucalyptus We're on a mission to make good health last a lifetime. More than 1 billion people live with obesity worldwide, driving preventable chronic conditions. We're here to build better long-term care. Eucalyptus is now part of Hims & Hers, the global leader in personalised health and wellness. Euc is the company behind Juniper, one of the world's largest weight-management programs combining GLP-1 medication with personalised nutrition, movement support, and clinician-led care from prescribers, nurses, health coaches, pharmacists, and dietitians. Our published clinical research shows that our combined clinical and behavioural approach helps patients lose significantly more weight during their treatment with Juniper by four times. Our Growth Story: Supporting patients living with obesity across our 5 markets Received selective NICE endorsement to provide services to the NHS Tailored our offering to thousands of patients in Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan and Canada. About the role (What you'll be doing) We're looking for a Director of Product to lead Insights — the personalised health layer that turns each patient's data into visible progress, progress into insight, and insight into the next action. This is one of the most strategically important problem spaces at Juniper, and we're looking for someone to define what it becomes over the next several years. Weight-loss medications are the biggest shift in metabolic health care this generation has seen. But the support around the medication dictates whether our patients lose the weight in a healthy manner and are able to keep the weight off. Our high-touch, proactive support model is the key reason why Juniper has become a market leader, and Insights is the core engine that powers it — getting our patients the right insight, the right intervention, at exactly the right moment. We believe we're still early on what's possible here. As Director of Product, you'll set the vision and strategy for Insights across Juniper and our brands, and you'll be accountable for the engagement, retention and patient-outcome metrics that flow from it. This includes shaping the features that help us better understand our patients — including weight tracking, body composition tracking, progress photos, nutrition tracking, sleep and more. You'll manage and grow a high-performing product team (partnering closely with a Senior PM), set the bar for product craft across the org, and act as a product leader for our Australian hub. You'll work hand-in-hand with our Chief Commercial Officer, clinical leadership, design, data science and engineering to shape and deliver ambitious bets. The rewards for getting this right are meaningful. You'll see the results of your work reflected in the lives of the patients we change — replicated on a global scale. Key Responsibilities Set the Vision & Multi-Year Strategy: Working with the Chief Commercial Officer, own the strategy for the vision of the Insights that power our patient’s proactive care. Set the direction and define the bets we make, and what we choose not to do. Execute Quickly, Deliver Globally: Take products from idea to impact and ship them to patients across every market Juniper operates in. You'll own delivery end-to-end and stay close to the craft Lead & Grow the Team: This role includes managing people — you'll manage, coach and grow product managers on the Insights team, raise the bar on hiring, set the standard for craft, and act as a force multiplier on every PM around you, not just your own pod. Own Company-Level Outcomes: Be accountable for engagement, retention and patient-outcome metrics that show up at the company-OKR and P&L level. Make the prioritisation and trade-off calls, collaborating with cross-functional and global stakeholders to achieve outcomes. Develop Insight the Org Doesn't Have Yet: Spot non-obvious shifts in patient behaviour, market structure or regulation, and reframe how we think about the problem space. Your reads on the market should become inputs to company strategy, not just product roadmaps. About you You bring 8 years of experience in product management , with a track record of shipping products that moved real user and commercial outcomes. You’re a high-agency leader who spikes on the following qualities: First-principles problem solver — You break the most ambiguous, undefined problems down, build a clear and focused strategy, and take ideas from zero to impact while applying sharp judgement on trade-offs along the way. Commercial & analytical rigour — You're laser-focused on outcomes you can measure. You interpret both quantitative and qualitative signal, you connect product to P&L, and you won't mistake motion for progress. Product sense & taste — You have a real instinct and empathy for what makes a person feel something. You can tell the difference between a feature that works and one that lands, and you set the bar for what feels delightful, trustworthy and easy to use. Ownership and comfort with ambiguity — You're energised by ambiguous, high-impact, first-of-their-kind problems, and you've got a track record of setting direction and leading through uncertainty. Influence without authority — You build credibility and follower-ship across teams, stakeholders and leadership — earned through the consistency and quality of your judgement, your storytelling, and long-term relationships. Leadership — You make the people and teams around you better. You set craft standards and create an environment where people have each other's backs and raise their game Why you should join Euc Our teams are incredibly passionate — Our talent bar is high and our work ethic is strong. You'll get to stretch yourself everyday and work amongst people who care deeply about our patients. You'll be given autonomy to tackle interesting problems and receive regular feedback from a supportive team. We move at incredible speed — You'll work with team mates who build in the open by sharing their work freely; this helps us learn and iterate quickly so we can deliver high quality outcomes faster than our competitors. You'll spend a lot of time outside of your comfort zone learning and iterating frequently, we wouldn't have it any other way. We will invest in your career — You'll get access to an annual professional development budget, mentors and buddies to ensure that you have the support you need to level up. You can expect regular performance and pay reviews as your career grows. We are all owners — You'll be given equity to ensure that you are able to benefit in the upside of your contribution in helping Euc grow. Your ideas will be valued regardless of your role, you will have ownership over the projects you work on which will feel both terrifying but extremely fulfilling. We play as hard as we work — From our annual Eucalympics (Olympic themed hackathon), monthly health & fitness allowances, free weekly barista coffees, funded social clubs, quarterly rooftop parties and weekly catered fireside chats, we know how to let our hair down! We'll have your back when you need us the most — You'll be able to lean on a range of leave offerings to support you when needed, this includes: personal health and professional development leave, a generous parental leave that offers 20 weeks paid leave for a primary carer, additional miscarriage leave (see more on Kin Fertility's WeNeedMoreLeave campaign), as well as our Employee Assistance Programme. At Eucalyptus, we value individuals from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, and we embrace the unique qualities each person brings. When you apply, please let us know of any reasonable adjustments you may need during the interview process. We use AI-assisted tools across our business to help our teams work more efficiently, including within our recruitment process. These tools support our team — all hiring decisions are made by real people, and every application is reviewed by a member of our recruitment team. J-18808-Ljbffr
