Duties & Responsibilities: The primary duties consist of but are not limited to the following. Ability to effectively manage all areas of new and used car department, including but not limited to dealer trades, wholesales, retail, purchasing and marketing. Experience with internet and retail tools, IE: V-auto, E-car list Ability to forecast goals and objectives for vehicle sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis. Ability to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally. Determine monthly and annual forecasts in terms of unit sales and gross profit. Establish car sales objectives and plans for achieving them with each sales product specialist. Determines correct online pricing of units with the current market and geographical area. Follows established prospecting steps and procedures. Remains knowledgeable of new products, features, accessories, processes, etc. Identifies and qualifies business opportunities internally and with vendors. Follows established prospecting steps and procedures. Responsible for correctly appraising vehicles. Deliver an exceptional customer experience and maintain high customer satisfaction. Attends meetings and training sessions as scheduled. Supervises Sales Staff, Porters, and Detailers. Hire, train, and mentor sales staff Create monthly advertising plans based on manufacture incentives and available inventory. Conduct sales meetings on a daily basis to review the prior day's business and determine each day’s action plan using our CRM tool. Display and merchandise new and used vehicle inventory on the lot. Maintain training certification for each Manufacturer. Attending to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is obtained. Must use all company data bases and software according to company trained process and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
