The Radiologic Technologist Weekend Option performs medical exams using X-rays or other diagnostic imaging examinations on patients to create images of specific parts of the body. The images are then interpreted by a doctor for diagnosis and monitoring of disease. Working under direct supervision, this position prepares patients for the exams, moves patients to the correct position, operates the equipment, and uses their knowledge and skill to minimize the radiation dose to the patient. This role has a weekend option, in which the staff member is required to commit to WEO requirements and work two shifts within the WEO window for a premium rate.
