As a Mechanic on the Lawn Pride team, a typical day for you will include: Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair everything from fleet trucks and sprinter vans to specialized ride-on sprayers, ensuring all equipment meets safety standards. Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance to keep our fleet road-ready and our team at peak efficiency. Lifecycle Management: Manage the full scope of repairs, including emergency off-site retrievals and maintaining digital records/expense reports in Concur. Operational Support: Work directly with operators to identify equipment improvements and assist with shop maintenance and equipment logistics between locations. Technical Growth: Stay at the cutting edge by keeping updated on the latest industry trends, machinery technology, and safety protocols. (Required Qualifications) Experience: Proven mechanical experience is preferred; however, we encourage "skill-based" candidates with high mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn to apply. Skills: Proficiency with diagnostic tools; knowledge of welding, hydraulics, or electrical systems is a plus. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics or a related field is preferred. Ability to obtain a state spray technician license within 90 days (company-sponsored). Schedule / In-Office Requirements: Full-time, typically Monday - Friday, 5 am - 2 pm (varies by workload). Must be at least 21 years old and available for a flexible schedule/overtime. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required by the role. Job Description Job Description Department: Seafood Reports To: Store Director JOB SUMMARY To effectively direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Seafood Department and its Associates to achieve the Department’s goals in accordance with our Policies and Mission under the direction of the Store Director. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform all duties in accordance with all Company policies and programs, and all Local, State, and Federal laws and regulations, including all environmental, health, safety and security policies, programs, laws and regulations. Perform all duties in accordance with HAACP and Food Handling procedures. Perform all duties in accordance with the Company’s HAZCOM program and adhere to manufacturer’s label instructions for the safe and proper use of all chemical products. Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment in accordance with Department QA standards. Clearly communicate and consistently enforce department and Company safety policies and procedures. Observe all safety regulations when operating equipment and utilize Personal Protective Equipment. Supervise the proper use of all equipment by Associates, including Personal Protective Equipment. Understand and adhere to all procedures in emergency situations. Use and maintain equipment in good working order; immediately advise Store Management of any maintenance or equipment problems. Ensure that Associates operating power equipment (balers, hi-lo’s, power jacks, slicing machines, etc.) are 18 years of age or older. Regularly lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise that weights 25 lbs., and that occasionally weights up to 50 lbs. Maintain all temperature logs and production sheets. Set up and maintains a proper cleaning maintenance schedule of entire department. Successfully complete training to receive and maintain a Company recognized Food Safety Certification Greet all Customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance. Assist with the onboarding and training of new department Associates, in accordance with Company policies and procedures and all Local, State, and Federal labor laws and regulations. Provide continual training, developmental action planning, and meaningful feedback on job performance to Associates. .Maintain an open line of communication and work cooperatively with all business partners. Lead Associates to work cooperatively while encouraging enthusiasm, loyalty, and creativity. Encourage and recognize Associates to provide a positive Customer Experience. Ensure all product is blocked and faced in accordance with Company policy or as assigned. Ensure that featured sale merchandise is signed in accordance with Company and regulatory standards. Understand and adhere to all Country of Origin Label (C.O.O.L.) regulations for all products in the Seafood Department. Understand and utilize all required applications and current technology as relates to Seafood Operations Verify accuracy of invoices to actual product received. Ensure all reports and records are accurate, complete and retained in accordance with Company policy. Ensure the quality of all product received and secure properly in appropriate storage areas. Ensure the accuracy of item pricing, item locator and shelf allocation. Ensure reclamation or return-to-stock product procedures are followed in accordance with Company policy. Understand and adhere to Local, State and Federal regulations as relates to Seafood Operations. Diesel Mechanic

Job Description Job Description The primary role of the Mechanic is to diagnose and repair fleet and equipment in order to optimize the needs of operations and minimize equipment down time. Essential Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, adjust and repair power train, electrical, suspension, brake, hydraulic and air systems on vehicles and equipment. Assist in execution of preventative maintenance program by performing oil and fluid changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, CHP BIT inspections, etc. Perform on-road emergency service calls. Make recommendations for parts, equipment and fabrication orders. Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate repairs. Utilize fleet management software to perform data entry, maintain accurate records and prepare various reports upon request, paying close attention to accuracy and detail. Utilize service manuals as well as online technical resources, service literature and diagnostic software. Observe and comply with hazardous waste and material handling and disposal procedures and regulations as set forth by local, state and federal environmental and health agencies. Observe and comply with all applicable safety regulations, rules, policies and procedures. Maintain clean, safe and organized work space. Maintain collaborative working relationship with drivers, operators and coworkers and communicate timeline for downed vehicles. Mentor and provide assistance to Mechanic Trainees. Participate in external, Department and Company-wide trainings to increase skill sets and improve service. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of: Diesel and/or compressed natural gas engines, heavy equipment mechanical components and parts. Methods, tools, equipment and systems used in the inspection, diagnosis and repair of trucks and heavy equipment. Vehicle computer diagnostic systems and fleet management software.
