Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Performs maintenance and repairs for Easton and related properties. Supervises and mentors the Facilities Maintenance Technicians. CORE FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise shift staffing, including assigning and prioritizing tasks. Train, mentor, create plans and goals for the team, and hold team accountable for their responsibilities. Assist in the generation of PM’s for equipment. Assist in the creation and follow up of operational procedures. Responsible for repairs and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing, architectural features, wall and floor finishes and other components pertinent to the common area of the shopping center. Uses various documentation to effectively and efficiently complete assigned tasks (i.e. maintenance and repair procedures, manufacturer’s data, manufacturer’s safety data sheets, preventative maintenance programs and work orders, etc.), as they relate to assigned areas of responsibility. Executes and implements preventative maintenance and repair for all systems and equipment using developed skills and direction from Facilities Maintenance Supervisor or others. Also coordinates and performs maintenance and repair for other department systems. Prepares written repair records, logs, test reports, work orders, etc. to accurately document work performed. Monitors and reports to supervision the inventory of parts and supplies for the Operations Department as tasked. Uses and maintains all furnishings, equipment and tools in safe working order. Reports to Facilities Maintenance Supervisor or Management staff conditions that require further attention to ensure unsafe conditions are not created or perpetuated. Provides input and feedback to Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to minimize repair and maintenance expenses within the department.
